David Barison will be present to discuss the project following a screening of the film

Saturday February 4th, 10.00-16.00 hrs

"The Ister is a journey to the heart of Europe, from the mouth of the Danube river on the Black Sea, to its source in the German Black Forest.The film is based on the work of Martin Heidegger continues to be, his thought remains alive in the work of some of the most remarkable thinkers and artist working today. Four of these conduct our voyage upstream along the Danube: Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe, Jean-Luc Nancy, Bernard Stiegler, and, finally, the filmmaker Hans-Jürgen Syberberg." [1]

Venue: Lecture Theatre, Chelsea School of Art and Design, Millbank

Screening (with break): 10.00-13.30hrs, David Barison session: 14.30-16.00hrs
