Interim Exhibitions mini crits/discussions around Painting with Katrine Hjelde
Every Thursday during the exhibitions at ca. 4.30 - starting shortly after the stage and week exhibition crit - until ca 5.45
Thursday 22nd Thursday 29th + Jeff Dennis Thursday 5th Thursday 12th Thursday 19th + Jo Bruton Thursday 26th + Jo Bruton - Final session will aim to reflect on painting within the whole series of stage exhibitions as well as the exhibition itself.
These short crits intend to discuss both individual works in the show which claim a relationship with painting materially or conceptually, but also to get a sense of how the painting related works operate within the exhibitions across the stages. It is also intended to bring student across the stages together around a shared interest.
This is under the umbrella of the Talking Around Painting Group - but all are welcome to these crits, just turn up on the day.
Friday 20th of February: Painter Paul Housley will meet with students from Talking Around Painting in DG13 @ 3.30 - bring a piece of work if you want to take part in this event. Artist Talk by Paul at 5.30 @ Lecture Theater - all welcome.
